Esmeraude: The Crown Jewel of the Northwest Realm. Here, followers of Taurus rule and take great pride in their beloved Emerald Bull. Esmeraude had a humble beginning as little more than a miner’s town until a colossal vein of emeralds from the fallen constellation of Taurus was unearthed. The Emerald Rush brought many settlers from far and wide. Northern folk, followers of Warlord Aldebaran from the east, and The Pike Clan of dwarves were among the first to settle in Esmeraude, but they were far from the first to live in the region. Elves from the Willow Knot had lived on this land for centuries, and although not eager to share the land, a great treaty made way for years of peace. Now, 2000 years since the Emerald Rush, Esmeraude holds great wealth and power. It is the last city before the northern territories and the capital of the Taurus people.

The current cycle of the moon marks Esmeraude’s 3000's birthday. In honor of its founding, a great tower has been constructed: The Tower of The Stars! The Tower is meant to serve the cosmic good of the people and will act as the seat of power for the Earth Magi of the Emerald Ways. A great feast has been planned, and folk from far and wide have traveled to the city, excited to take part in the festivities…
